RCW Lawn and Deck furniture is built to withstand the intense heat and humid, corrosive environment of the Texas Gulf Coast—which means it will stand up to virtually any weather conditions. Each piece begins with 4/4 rough lumber that is planed and dimensioned to a full 3/4” thickness (unlike the thin, lightweight materials so common in outdoor furniture sold by many discount stores and home centers). Galvanized and/or stainless steel fasteners and weatherproof adhesives are used throughout. After final assembly, all surfaces are coated with exterior-grade sealers to help guard against moisture and UV damage. Protected for a full year under the exclusive RCW Limited Warranty, with reasonable care and preventive maintenance this furniture can provide years of enjoyment.

After many years of experimenting with different materials and finishes, we've chosen unpainted Western Red Cedar and/or Cypress, as available, as the optimal choice for balancing durability, affordability and maintenance. However, consistent with RCW's custom shop philosophy, alternatives (Redwood, pigmented stains, etc.) are available at additional cost. Please contact us for details.
